Home studio, usually with production and experiments going on at the same time.
Wheelthrown vessels and candle sconces are most of the work, but tiles are an
important part of it.
I love to juxtapose unique natural textures found on stones and old wood
with the effects of melted glass on clay. I also make a lot of pots with
running dogs on them. These are often used as dog racing or show trophies.
Clay allows the artist a full range of control over the creative process, from
conception to completion. The possibilities seem limitless, and my favorite
answer to problems is "let's try it and find out!"
