Pottery Making Illustrated
Pottery Making Illustrated is the world’s only ceramics art magazine dedicated entirely to techniques and information for the studio potters-professionals, enthusiasts, teachers and students. Each issue contains practical information from experts and professionals presented in a well-illustrated format dealing with every aspect of pottery making, such as throwing, handbuilding, firing, materials and equipment.

Published by The American Ceramic Society, a nonprofit association founded in 1898 to further the development and use of ceramics in industry, science and the arts, Pottery Making Illustrated offered its first issue during the Society’s centennial in 1998. While most ceramic studio magazines provide information about why and what artists are doing with clay, Pottery Making Illustrated devotes itself entirely to showing first-hand the techniques artists use.
